Real Azazie Wedding | Corinne + Justin

Corinne and Justin had a timeless wedding in Lindsay-Crossman Chapel in Berea, Ohio. It was met with a fun reception celebration filled with carousels, and endless dancing! One of her tips for bride to be’s is to relax and just go with the flow! We are so in love with this sweet couple! Congratulations Corinne + Justin!

Q: What location did you pick to have your wedding and why did you choose this place?

“We had our ceremony at the Lindsay-Crossman Chapel on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.  We had just under 200 people at our wedding and the chapel made for a very intimate feeling even with a bigger-sized wedding.   The campus is beautiful and we found it to be perfect for our outdoor photos.  Our reception was at Stillwater Place, a venue located in the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. We chose this venue for so many reasons.  It has a spacious outdoor patio for cocktail hour plus a fireplace that guests enjoyed all evening.  There is a nearby carousel that guests rode during cocktails.  The indoor space is new with neutral gray furnishings.  There is a large wooden dance floor, wood beams and a sliding barn door.  There are paths around the venue that overlook a lake which also made for outstanding photos as did the carousel.”

Q: Did you have a particular theme or color scheme? Is there a story behind this color theme and why you chose it?

“Light gray is my favorite color. I felt that having gray as the central color was timeless and something I wouldn’t regret down the line.  We went with a very neutral color palate for bouquets and centerpieces.”

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

“There are so many memorable parts of the day!  It’s hard to choose — our first look, walking down the aisle, each of us fumbling over the same line in our vows, going to a bar with our bridal party between the ceremony and reception, and dancing the night away!  One of my favorite memories of the day is having all of our friends and family, all the people we love, in one room.  That’s something I’ll never forget.”

Q: Why did you choose Azazie for your bridesmaids?

“I always knew I wanted my bridesmaids to coordinate but not match so getting the dresses from Azazie made this possible!  After ordering some color samples, I chose silver and the organza fabric, then narrowed the choices down to 25 styles.  My bridesmaids then picked from there.   My maid of honor has since worn her dress for a holiday party.”

Q: Any tips or advice for anyone getting married soon?

“Just enjoy the day and realize all won’t go exactly as planned.   Have quiet moments with your groom to savor as much as you can.”

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

“I was not one of those girls who dreamt every night what their wedding would be like.  So, I initially found it overwhelming but after the big decisions were made (chapel and reception locations), i really liked the process.  I am also glad we had a long engagement.  I am forever thankful for all the help I had from family and friends.”

Q: Where did you find/hear about Azazie?

“Some research on the internet.”

That carousel is absolutely awesome! I love the choice to stay neutral with the light gray. So chic and the photography complimented the venue, attire, etc. all so well.
