Spring 2017 brides, these are for you! The three biggest trends you need to watch out for are florals, plunging necklines, and delicate bodices. It’s definitely a season of daring femininity!
Barely there whites are dominating the bridal color world, with pale ivories, blush pinks and the lightest blues. And with sheer and lightweight fabrics being the material of choice, these colors are going to look amazing for your Spring 2017 wedding (read Spring 2017 Color Trends).
We split up the bridal trends into four categories: Fairytale, Glamour, Boho, and Chic. So whether you’re planning for some romantic I Do’s or a modern ceremony, this is a trend report you do not want to miss.
Fairytale
As one of the most popular and on-going trends, the fairytale theme is here to stay. The ballgown style is going full force, paired with delicate bodices that are fully embellished with 3D flowers sewn throughout the gown.
Glamour
For the brides who love watching the red carpet and want to feel like a movie star on her special day, Spring 2017 is the season for you. We are seeing a lot of mermaid styles that are figure hugging and ultra glamorous.
Bustier styles made an appearance as well. Wedding gowns featured the sexiness of lingerie while still kept classy and elegant with the illusion necklines and floral embellishments all across the bodice. The trumpet gown is still showcasing the bride’s romantic and feminine side as the flare of the skirt is made with layers of tulle and silk.
Boho
Bohemian inspired fashion has been huge this past year, and we’re excited to say that it is not going anywhere! The romantic, light and dainty style is going full force with delicate lace and sweet details.
Chic
The Sheath silhouette is becoming more and more popular as brides are embracing their modern style. This straighter cut is kept elegant and classic, by pairing it with more discreet details like bare shoulders and illusion necklines. Complete the look with a ultra chic choker or statement earrings for a high fashion feel.
