The Royal Wedding: Possible Titles for Meghan and Harry

The nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are less than a month away, and we can’t wait! There are so many amazing things that we’re excited about, but one of the most interesting things that we’re going to be able to find are the titles Queen Elizabeth will give to Prince Harry and Ms. Markle.

As you might remember, when Prince William and Kate Middleton were married, they become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the two top contenders are Duke and Duchess of Sussex or Duke and Duchess of Connaught.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is rumored to be the Queen’s top choice, and one fun feature of these titles is that Markle would be the first woman to be Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex, which is pretty cool.

There is some controversy about the Duke and Duchess of Connaught choice since Connaught is actually in Ireland, not the UK. In addition to the Queen’s chosen title, Markle will also be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Wales, so no matter which title her majesty chooses, Meghan Markle is going to become a princess. Swoon!
